Stephen Murray
Executive Director
Stephen Murray serves as Executive Director at Forerunner Mentoring. In short, Stephen is the one responsible for leading our staff, volunteers, donors, and families to take their next step in our vision to see every young man in Lake Highlands growing up without a father-figure at home fulfill their God-given potential.
Stephen and his wife Katy have called Dallas home for 11 years, and have two littles: Ben and Maren. He joined Forerunner Mentoring as a volunteer mentor in 2017.
Stephen graduated from Texas A&M University and has a background in marketing and church ministry. He is passionate about helping people experience and live from the reconciliation, mercy, and hope found in the Gospel, and believes the love of the Father is the greatest revelation we will ever experience.
When not at work, Stephen enjoys mentoring, skeet shooting, reading non-fiction, telling stories, and sharing life with close friends.

Steve Giddens
Director of Development
Steve Giddens serves as the Director of Development at Forerunner Mentoring. In short, Steve is responsible for the initiatives for fundraising, donor relationships, and managing the marketing and communications team. His goal is to tell the Forerunner Mentoring story and inspire people to support and join our mission to see every boy in Lake Highlands without a father figure at home grow in his God-given potential.
Steve and his wife Linda have called Dallas home for the last three years joining their daughter and son-in-law, Leeanne and Jason Seely and son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Linde Giddens as Lake Highlanders. He and Linda are also blessed with six grandchildren, Owen and Wyatt Seely and Mack, AbbeLee, Gus, and Bea Giddens. He joined Forerunner Mentoring in May of 2023.
Steve graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington and has a background in sales, marketing, business development, fundraising and has owned four businesses. He is passionate about helping great causes thrive in a world of darkness.
When not at work, Steve enjoys spending time with family and friends, is an avid golfer, and loves making new friends.

Andrew Reimer
Director of Programs
Andrew Reimer is our Director of Programs at Forerunner Mentoring. In short, Andrew is the one who leads in the development and oversight of the Forerunner Mentoring Programs so that we might see every young man in Lake Highlands growing up without a father figure at home fulfill their God-given potential.
Andrew is originally from Wichita, Ks, but moved to Dallas, by way of Denver, CO after the dynamic duo arrived (twins Max & Margot) to round out his family of 6 to be closer to family.
Andrew has 11+ years of social work experience and 5+ years of ministry experience. He joined the staff at Forerunner Mentoring in October 2022. Andrew is passionate about building relationships as a means to grow in discipleship, building community and growing personally. Andrew desires to see people step into their potential in all spheres of life and leverage the gifts, experiences and skills to develop themselves and those around them.
When not at work Andrew loves spending time with his family, reading, and spending time by a fire. His favorite Dallas spots to enjoy are Bonton Farms and the Dallas Arboretum. He also loves connecting with people over a beverage or meal.

Beth Winter
Executive Assistant to the Executive Director
Beth Winter is the Executive Assistant to the Executive Director at Forerunner Mentoring. In short, Beth supports the organization by supporting Stephen Murray.
Beth had lived in West Texas all of her life (except for 3 months when she thought she wanted to be an Aggie) until moving to Dallas in 2019. Beth graduated from Texas Tech, where she studied Addiction Disorders & Recovery Studies, Psychology, and Human Development & Family Studies. She worked in college ministry in Lubbock for four years - mentoring students and running programs, before God put it on her heart to move to Dallas. Her heart in moving was to work somewhere serving women, children, and immigrant families. Because God is God - he was faithful to bring her to Forerunner where she’s had the privilege of all three. She joined staff at Forerunner in August of 2019 and has played a role in both programs and operations over the years, going wherever she can meet the most needs for the team.
When not at work, Beth is probably watching a Mavs game, having dance parties with her niece and nephew, playing, or walking whatever nature trail she can find.

Tara Livingston
Office Coordinator
Tara Livingston is our Office Coordinator at Forerunner Mentoring. In short, Tara Livingston is the one who helps keep things organized and running smoothly in the office.
Tara grew up in the Dallas area and has a background in behavioral therapy, working with individuals with Autism, but most recently worked at an anti-trafficking non-profit in their mentoring program and joined staff at Forerunner Mentoring in 2022.
Tara is passionate about encouraging others in who God created them to be and calling out the truth in them. She is also passionate about educating people about human trafficking and believes everyone can have a role to play in ending the trafficking cycle in DFW.
When not at work, Tara loves spending time with friends, eating all types of macaroni and cheese, and watching whatever show is her favorite at the moment.

Tajudin Spencer
7-12 Program Coordinator
Tajudin Spencer is our 7-12th grade Program Coordinator at Forerunner Mentoring. In short, he is the one who is responsible for stewarding the Junior High and High School programs.
Tajudin was born and raised in Broward County, Florida, but moved to Dallas after graduating college in 2022 to pursue his calling as a Writer and Public Speaker.
Tajudin has a background in youth ministry (serving as a youth leader since 2013) and in leadership development; attending many events as a featured speaker, including keynoting the University of North Florida’s Leadership Conference. Tajudin joined staff at Forerunner Mentoring in 2022. He is passionate about helping others maximize their full potential.
When not at work he loves to go to parks to play basketball or football and read and write poetry.

Noah McGuffey
Community Coordinator : Mentor Focus
Noah is our Community Coordinator at Forerunner Mentoring. In short, Noah is in charge of volunteer and community engagement and helps with mentor program oversight.
Noah is originally from College Station, but heard about Forerunner Mentoring in Dallas and is starting his new chapter in life working there. After volunteering in a nonprofit in college, Noah felt confident that the Lord called him to Dallas to continue serving Him in a similar way.
Noah has a background in studying leadership at Texas A&M University, and joined staff at Forerunner Mentoring in the summer of 2023. Noah is passionate about following the calling of Jesus to be a light in His world and to love others unconditionally.
When not at work, Noah really enjoys a good game of pickleball or basketball, sharing a meal, and hanging out with his friends.

Caitlyn Moudy
K-6 Program Coordinator
Caitlyn Moudy is our K-6 Program Coordinator at Forerunner Mentoring. In short, Caitlyn is the one who helps lay the foundation for our youngest Forerunners to grow into the potential that God has for them.
Caitlyn is originally from Plano, Texas where the majority of her family still lives. She jumped into Forerunner as a volunteer in 2020.
Caitlyn has a background in education and business and joined staff at Forerunner Mentoring in 2021 as a grade coach. She is passionate about helping others to see Jesus in every area of life. She is also passionate about the truth and power of the gospel being shared from generation to generation.
When not at work Caitlyn loves all things basketball related, whether that be watching the WNBA or actually playing the game.

Sophie Macfarlan
Community Coordinator : Family Ministry Focus
Sophie is our Community Coordinator at Forerunner Mentoring, with a Family Focus. In short, Sophie helps facilitate community and relationships for the Forerunner Moms.
Sophie grew up on a farm in Lorena, TX with her 6 siblings and moved to the big city of Waco 12 miles down the road when she was in Junior High. She met her husband, Mac, when they both attended Baylor University. After their wedding they moved to Lake Highlands at age 23 where they have lived ever since. They love the LH community and have been married for 16 years and have 4 children ages 14, 12, 10, and 9.
Sophie got a degree in Professional Writing at Baylor, and a Master’s degree from John Brown University while attending the Kanakuk Institute. She was on the Children’s Ministry staff at Watermark Community Church for 5 years as the Curriculum Writer for their 1st through 5th grade programs and enjoyed writing Bible lessons and skits every week. She joined staff at Forerunner in 2024 and is passionate about connecting with and serving moms.
When not at work Sophie loves to play tennis, bake with her daughters, throw parties, spend time with her 23 nieces and nephews, watch sports documentaries, help at her children’s schools, and hang out with neighbors in the front yard.

Caroline Gooding
Development Coordinator
Caroline serves as the Development Coordinator at Forerunner Mentoring. In short, she assists the Development Team with planning and coordinating events, campaign management, and donor relationships.
Caroline is originally from Lake Highlands and is thrilled to be back in Dallas after several years spent in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
Caroline graduated from Texas A&M University and has a background in event coordination and project management. She joined the staff at Forerunner Mentoring in 2024. She is passionate about building impactful relationships and sharing the message of grace, redemption, and unconditional love found through Jesus with others.
When not at work, Caroline loves to spend time with her friends and family or head outdoors to hike, fly fish, ski, or simply hammock with a good book.
